The Athens School of Fine Arts, established in 1837 at 42 Patission St, has ever since provided the infrastructure for the Arts in Greece. Since 1992 most of the activities of the Athens School of Fine Arts moved to new premises at 256 Peiraios St, The factory (Εργοστάσιο).
The relocation in a new building that formerly housed the Sikiarides family textile factory, Hellenic Textiles SA, suggested a changed attitude but also new connections to the urban life. Most of the activities of the ASFA BBQ will take place in this factory and more specifically in the Theater, the Cinema, the Garden and the classrooms of the School. In addition some of the events, will take place in the new project space of the School Circuits + Currents at 13 Notara & Tositsa St, Exarcheia and Entos/Ektos project at 44 Panepistimiou St
